Although open 24/7 for wildlife care admissions, we are only open on selected days listed below for public visits.
Our Open Weekends offer you the opportunity to come and meet the staff and animals at Secret World and to get a close up look at the work we do.

Upcoming Secret World Events
Open from 10am to 4pm, there is no admission charge but we do ask for donations to our charity. All the events listed below will be taking place at the Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre in New Road, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 3PZ.

'Badger Bonanza' April 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th This is the only time of year that the public get a chance to see these beautiful creatures up close. This is when y oung badgers are being bottle fed at our centre, which is the largest badger cub rearing unit in the contry. You will be able to view some of the casualty and rehabilitation pens via our CCTV system. |
'Wildlife Babies' June 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th It's baby boom time and there will be lots of wildlife orphanes being cared for at our centre. This is a perfect opportunity to find out about our orphan rearing programme. Our staff and volunteers will be on hand to talk you through the feeding of an orphaned bird or the weaning of a fox, badger or otter cub right through its rehabilitation to release |

Healing Weekend 2012 - Annual Event 6th, 7th & 8th July One of the U.K'S Premier Holistic Events with a huge array of nearly 150 stalls and exhibitors including Healer’s, Therapists, Clairvoyants, Arts & Crafts, Trade Stands, Health and Holistic Goods, Music, Dance, Displays,Workshops & Talks, Plus Much More. 'Nature's Hunters' 25th, 26th & 27th August With the school holidays in full swing you may be looking for something to do to keep those energetic children occupied! It's a bumper weekend as it's our last weekend of the summer. We're still busy with wildlife casualties from bats, birds and fawns - see how many different animals you can find. There's face painting, ferret racing and a nature trail and more! |
